BMCC, Borough of Manhattan Community College is a second chance school that enrolls 25,000 students in two years of college study to prepare them for a real college.  It’s motto is “Start Here. Go Anywhere.”   Just under 1/3 of the student body graduates.

Cheap Online Colleges ranks it as the 3rd best community college in NYC.

It’s most prominent alum is Queen Latifah.
